There are a number of ways to light your deck at night. The first is simply to plug your transformer into your outlet. If you’re looking for a more hands-free approach, use the photocell timer provided with your transformer. It gives you multiple options, including setting your lights to illuminate from dusk until dawn, or to be on for two, four, or up to 10 hours. Another way to light your deck at night is to use our WiFi Controller, which allows you to control up to 60 watts of LED lights from any location.
There are no set requirements for light placement - the height you position your lighting at will depend on which light you are installing and your personal preference.
The cost of adding Trex deck lights varies depending upon which lights are being installed and how many you need. Lights start at around £65 each, with wiring, splitters, transformers and timers costing extra.
It’s definitely worth investing in deck lighting. - It extends the time you can use your deck into the evening. Our lights also come with a seven-year warranty while the transformer/timer is warrantied for three years.
