So it’s the new Trex.com, where we’ve made quite a few changes. The site remains your resource for all things Trex – from products to advice to new design ideas – now it’s just more useful and easier to navigate.
Here’s how it works:
You now have lots of new ways to think about a deck, from our updated galleries to extraordinary designs by renowned designers like Jamie Durie, to our new thematic collections that depict trusted color and product combinations.
Experiment with your deck design ideas in our 3D Deck Visualizer, or explore hundreds of color and finish combinations for your decking, railing and trim on our iPad Visualizer App and email your favorites directly to your family and friends.
All your questions about decks and outdoor living can be answered in our extensive library. Learn more about our green heritage, review board dimensions, and check out our FAQs and demonstration videos to answer all those looming questions. You’ll know your grooved boards from your hidden fasteners in a snap.
Picture yourself stranded in the home improvement aisle, wondering what our Transcend Lava Rock deck board sample looks like 500 square feet bigger. Or you’re a deck builder on the job site, realizing some J-channel trim would seal the deal…if only it came in your size. Just by calling up trex.com on your mobile device, you’ll access a version of our site that is optimized for whatever screen size you need – providing anywhere/everywhere access to Trex advice, product info and ideas.
Once the decisions have been made and you’re ready to commit, check out the DIY section that does just about everything but build the deck for you. Cross off pre-construction checklists, consult how-to-videos and even contact a Trex expert 24/7.
If you’d rather someone else actually do the manual labor, there’s a quick-click button on every page of our site to help you find deck builders in your area.
Once your dream has come to life, the new trex.com will be your resource for details on (minimal) maintenance, caretaking and warranties. And once you’re a member of the Trex community, be sure to stay in touch. Like us on Facebook, follow our Twitter feed and be sure to “pin” our inspiring images at Pinterest.
So, that’s the update. Browse around, try things out and let us know what you think. And check in – we’ll be posting here regularly with seasonal ideas, designer commentary and insightful musings from the Trex team.
